| This image is part of a series of 17 images, displaying patterns with the symmetries of the 17 wallpaper groups. This is the group p31m, which contains three families of order 3 rotations. There are reflexion axes which pass only through one family of rotation centers. The two remaining families of order 3 rotations are mirror of each other. (The symmetry is slightly broken by the circular central part of the image...) |
